Landmarked · last updated 3 October 2026

Landmarked is a travel map. You mark the places you have been, add dates, notes and photos, and see them as a map and a passport. This page explains what we store, why, who helps us run the service, and how to delete it.

What we store

We do not store your location. If the app asks for location, it is only to center the map on your device while it is open.

Ads

The free plan shows ads from Google AdMob. Premium has no ads. To show and measure ads, Google may collect device identifiers, your IP address, and how you interact with ads.

See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Why we use it

We do not sell your personal data.

Who helps us run Landmarked

These providers may process data outside your country. They are bound by contracts that protect it.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account. You can delete your account in the app or on the website, in Profile. That deletes your profile, your own map, and your photos. A shared map you made passes to the next person on it, so their places stay; the places you marked on shared maps stay for the others too.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete your data, and object to or limit how we use it. You can also withdraw ad consent at any time. If you are in the EU, you can complain to your data protection authority; in Spain that is the AEPD.

Children

Landmarked is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is important.
